Default Did I Blow my GTX?

Well I think that I may have made a big mistake and misconnected wires on my previous RC Car. I think I connected my battery wires to my motor and my motor wires to my battery. Would this damage the internal integrated circuitry on the Novak GTX? I think the answer is yes, but I thought that I would posse the question just in case.

If you wired them incorrectly yes you can damage the ESC. Usually you smoke the ESC and battery.

Didnt see any smoke. I think I got power to the ESC the last time I used it but not quite sure. Will have to do a wiring job tomorrow after work and see if it atleast lights up. Hopefully its just a bad wiring harness.

well since the posi wire goes to the motor and the battery that one is ok. now the blue motor neg. wire and the black battery neg. wires are different at least the are both neg. feeds. so it may be ok. did it work as normal wired up the way you had it? or did it not feel as responsive in either acceleration or in braking operations, or did you not even notice a difference? its not like you sent voltage into the esc from the posi side into the neg. you'll just have to do like you said and rewire it and try it out.
