Default lipos and ice charger

i will be receiving my max amps 4400 saddle lipos soon and i have a ice charger, i was just wondering what the discharge current and the discharge volts should be set at sorry for the newb question but i am just getting back into electric after about 15 years away thanx for the replys

You should never discharge a lipo pack without a reason... (like if you want to see how much juice is left, to figure runtime, etc). Otherwise you should not discharge it.

But if you need to... set the volts to 3.0-3.2 volts per cell. (minimum of 6 volts on a 7.4v pack) and the amps as high as you want... 10A max on the ICE is fine.

Charge: 4.4 amps

change at 4.4 amps. Dont need to discharge. ever.

I would reccomend a balancer if you can use one. I don't know if many of the car lipo's come with a balance port but it's about the best way to keep the battery in good running shape. If you get a balancer with a digital it's probably a better way, but not really required.
