engine break in
 
iam breaking in a picco .28 when i loosen up glow plug to allow bumb box to turn it over the fuel bubbling up is silver looking . I have ran 3 tanks thru it.1 at high idle 2 at changing rpm never got it hotter than 210. is this normal ?

Might need to run it rich to flush that out those are metal fragments ... They need to be flushed out! Does it still have pinch at TDC ? flip it over with the GP out and spray WD in it and flush it!!!! Its probably not bad .. it happens!

That would bother me enough to at least get that stuff out :sneaky:

i pulled out plug & washed it out it out w/fuel still pinch at tdc

forgot to add running at 2.5 turns richer than factory settings. should i go richer ? :confused:

Is there fuel washing out the pipe?

Whats happening is the parts are fitting and its rubbing off any metal in its way for a good fit !!!!!

You should be good! just keep flushing it if you notice it!

PLENTY of fuel coming out of pipe. got nervous when i saw it and did as u mentioned only i used fuel in asyringe fuel line on it to wash out instead of w-d . thanks for reply. very new to this. :tire:

Is it bad if engine looses pinch? @ tdc?

It looses alot of power so If you have lost it its time for a rebuild or replacement
But if it fires and runs strong dont bother with it yet!!
