Cavalieri had a couple of bobbles trying to catch up to Maifield, but seemed to be able to make up for them and keep the pressure on Maifield, that's for sure.

But I sure was nervous for Maifield on every quad he took...i was watching right by the landing point for the quad (I think Casper was turn marshalling next to me?) and kept thinking Maifield was going to biff it, especially considering how many cars I saw break right there on Sunday. But his T4 held up and he brought it home. Definitely a good race.

My favorite race though had to be the 4WD B-Main though...talk about a demolition derby! Oh the carnage!!! hahahaha

Yes it was Hot Bodies car. There were BJ4's, one XXX-4, a Tamiya, and couple yoks and a hot bodies car in the show. No XX-4's, Kyosho or Acadamy in the main.

That sucks Dakotah. Hope they find it. Also great job this weekend.

Phend, I suppose they lost it on the way out and not the way back. How did you get together all that stuff to race, congrads on that. Lost luggage is my worst nightmare. Thats why we are driving to NM.

Dakotah, I'm sorry to hear about your lost bags! That stinks!

It was really nice to meet you and your parents this past week. You did a great job of competing and a great job of conducting yourself. You are way more mature than your years.

Let me know if you want Kyle's blue groove setup sheet for the buggy and truck. His car was really, really good!

Keep us posted on the lost luggage drama.

Thank you, thank you and thank you to everybody who attended the 21st Annual Cactus Classic at SRS and to the 762 people who faithfully watched the event on LiveRC.com!

Special thanks to Brandon Rohde and Kevin Thompson, of whom, internet broadcasts would not have been possible!! And, Jake Thayer and Canyon Thompson.... the track was dialed all week due to their efforts!

Next year, even better... and you can plan on Jimmy running the show again.... I continue to be his biggest fan!!

Dawn,

I just wanted to thank you all for putting on a great race. You and the crew did a fantastic job of keeping everything in shape all week.

When it comes to directing a race it don't get no better than our man Jimmy Babcock. Great job Jimmy.

The LiveRC was awesome. Anita really liked it because even though she couldn't make it to AZ she was almost there with LiveRC. That was great. It was nice hearing from the fans back home when we were racing giving their support long distance.

Well, I gotta get back to work. Work making plans for getting to the Cactus next year that is. Thanks again to the crew at SRS and Dawn and Sean for hosting one heck of a race and Jimmy B. for great race directing. Awesome job by all.

We have a stack of trophies that weren't picked up yesterday from the Cactus Classic. All mains, B and lower received trophies for first, second and third place. (all the A main trophies were picked up..... they were given for all ten places)

If you placed in your main and forgot to swing by the hobby shop to get your trophy, please call the shop at 480 945 2186 and we'll verify the result and mail it to you. Also, Proline gave a full set of tires to each main winner.... so, if you missed out on that, we'll check with Proline for you.
