Is it common for jconcepts 1/8th tires to tear pins off right at the base where the meet the tire carcass or is it just my local track destroys them? Ive tried a few tread designs and compounds and they all seem to shed half the pins before the tires even start to really wear.
the other big companys (and two of the smaller guys) tires dont have this issue on my local track but chasers and little chasers are faster and the rubber seems to hold up well i just have issues tearing pins off

some news on the jconcepts carpet style tires.
Running on bumpy outdoor astro, probably about a medium grip level compared to indoor carpet, the swagger 4wd fronts and pin down rear tires offered alittle less bite than the schumacher stagger fronts and cactus rears. In general I liked the performance from them as it helped calm my car down as I search for a setup.
Right now I am curious though if more compound types are on the way for these tires. I wouldn't mind a compound similar in softness to schumachers yellow for some tuning options.
the lockness on my 1/10 2wd buggy have been great. gives just enough drift to get it to turn faster than it was before.

good stuff. I wouldn't mind a 4wd front tire in the same concept of the lockness (or a slightly smaller pin) for 4wd fronts.
Heck, if a pin tire could be made already "pre trimmed" I wouldn't mind that. seems for pin fronts people end up cutting off outer rows anyway on schumacher mini darts.

Need to get that stuff made in the USA
for your stalker and Kosmos tires, when do you feel you would go with over the other for conditions for 1/8 buggy?
