Are the foams for the 2wd front smoothies a little undersized? When I glues up my tires, the foams do not seem to fill the tire very well..

I was wondering if anyone has tried the rips in the black compound. They are out of green like I use on the rear of the car and was thinking the black or blue. Was thinking of grabbing the golds for indoor clay if they were any good just to try.

Also how are their dirt-tech inserts? I want to try closed foam inserts this time since the open cell foams are breaking down quick

They are working on something, but no ETA yet.

What I have found is they are to much of a perfect size or slightly big on the wheel, so they don't fit tight on the wheel. This works really well on the treaded tires, but I've actually be running the 2.2" Dirt Techs with the inner ribs/steps cut off for the smoothies .

The black Rip's work well especially if you use the rear white foam cut or the Dirt Techs. They are best for med/low-bite hard packed outdoor tracks that haven't grooved up yet.

Serration may be worn out on the nut? I wore one out on a 1/10 scale buggy and it kept slightly backing off.

Tried some double dees pre mounts indoor last week, tires worked great did exactly what I expected but when I went to take them off one of them was slipping. I had to run a screwdriver through the outdrive to hold the axle so I could get the wheel nut off.
Running A tekno with the closed end wheel nuts. I noticed there is definitely less "meat" in the wheel hex area compared to my AKA and Proline wheels I normally run.
I'm curious if this is 1/8th buggy? We haven't had/sold 1/8th DD's in a very long time, unless it may have been an old clearance item? These would certainly have an older style wheel that was used before the close-ended wheel nuts became popular.

Like you have alluded to, sounds like the close-ended wheel nuts are not allowing the wheel nut to fully engage into the wheel. Our more current wheels shouldn't have this issue and I would recommend using an open-ended wheel nut for those older wheels.

I don't think there are any plans for this...

Just put some WD40 on some unmounted greens and bag them over night
