I just wanted to show some thanks for JConcepts customer service. I had ordered some Green Barcodes and received a set of Golds in the Green packaging. They took care of it promptly by sending me a new set out.

Paul,
What is the best way to soften the dirtech inserts for a dirtweb 2wd buggy front? Is it better to cut the inner ribs or punch holes in the insert? I have a new set maybe 10 runs and it isnt softening. I have a well run pair with almost gone aka inserts and I like that feel and how the car drives with it so I was looking to get the insert in between new and gone.
Thanks,

Cutting the inner "raised" area of the DT inserts helps a lot. It won't break them in quicker, but it does flatten the tire and lower it's profile.

i talked to Jason yesterday at the Reedy. He said toward then end of Feb. RedRC mentioned is was based on the Yok so i wonder if thats what everyone was running.

60mm front wheels for ZX6
Now that AE has 12mm hex for the front of the B44 will the wheels for the ZX6 also be sold as B44 as well like you do for RB6 and B5? The wheel should physically fit, I'm just not sure of the offset. Thanks for the feedback!

Around the same time the kit is released.
Yes
Yes; you still have to use wheels made for the 22.
It's hard for me to say regarding track conditions, but I would just stick with the PP's if they are the best.
Hoping the end of the Feb.
I've seen both; I recommend holes if you want the same profile. If you want the tire a little flatter, then go with Randy's recommendation.
I'm sure there will be.
Mid/end of Feb.
I believe so, but will have to confirm.
Sounds good! Are you guys going to keep the T4.2 Finnisher around for a while? Since AE didn't release a rear motor T5 I'm reconsidering the T4.2 as my rear motor truck.
With the 22 axle conversion do you still have to run Losi front wheel? Or can you run ae or kyosho wheels
So at the local track in SCT, pressure points in green work the best all around for me. I tried dirt webs, they aren't bad, just not quite as good as the points. What track condition changes should I keep an eye on that would make the dirt webs a good choice? I also have barcodes in green as well, same thing they just aren't quite as hooked up as the points.
Any info on this yet?

Is there going to be a mid motor Finnisher body for the new 22t 2.0?
PW,
It there an ETA when the B44.3 Silencer will be available on JC.net?

Paul, when you guys talk about punching homes in the inserts, can you explain? How big of holes, and using what?
