I think it would be a big money maker to make a 14mm hex 60mm rim Durango and xray people can't run the new tires.

yeah and I'm pretty sure you don't end up with stock width maybe close but not stock width.

From what everybody is saying they squeeze the rear bearing when you put on b5 wheels and make buggy wider so that's a no go

There were some tolerance issues; some worked perfect and others would bind. They were pulled and discontinued. The ones that would bind were easily fixed by lightly sanding the inner flange down a few 1/10ths of a mill

There are no plans for a 14/15mm hex wheel. Not sure why they (Xray/Durango) wouldn't make their cars to industry standard?!?

I'm pretty sure you could get the aka evo rim conversion to work on Durango and Xray rims. Would be one way of running the new evo/vtr/60mm tires without the manufacturers having to make a special 14mm hex wheel.

Yeah I don't know why they insist on using 14mm. Do you think the older style tires will end up being discontinued in the next few years ?

It's hard to say as it all depends on racer demand, but I personally think the current 2.2 stuff is here to stay for years to come.

Running stock sct on indoor clay. I have found pressure points in green to work the best so far. Tried some dirt webs in green on Saturday, granted they were new, but they seemed really slick compared to the pressure points. Is this just because they were new? Take awhile to break in? The pressure points seemed to work well within 5 laps, the dirt webs just kept the truck loose. Any advice?

+1, I ran new dirt webs yesterday and they were crazy loose.
Maybe its the fact that I had new foams in them as well.
Maybe they will come around.
