With all things being the same, how much faster will the black compound wear than a gold compound?

If Gold compound where not available which compound would you recommend?

Black would wear MUCH faster. At my indoor track, black lasts 5 runs tops. Gold, 20 runs.

If you can't get gold, get silver. If neither is an option, get green. However, tire compound is everything. If you can't get the correct compound for your track, I'd just wait.

Dirt webs on a few stadium trucks this weekend. Is it safe to say we can buy them soon?

Default Silver vs Gold

What can be expected from the silver compound at a med-bite hardpack clay track where gold barcodes/dirtwebs work well? The track is usually run more on the dry side and can get kinda dusty at times and the gold's performance drops a little but they still work well. Would the silver compound grip a little bit better through the dust? Also, are there ever going to be silver front tires available? I only see them for rears right now.

Is jconcepts going to release a dirt tech insert for the short course dirt webs. The 8th scale foams don't fit well at all and the stock insert doesn't fit that well either. Im grabbing aka foams but would like to see the dirt tech foam and fit the carcass as well.

Sorry for the delayed postings, but just returned from the off-road Nats.

The Dirt Web truck tires are still a little ways out as the Nationals were the first time we ever ran them (practice or race). They performed very well with a TQ and 2nd place finish on RC's truck and 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 9th.

I would think the silver might give you that little bit extra, but tire wear will be a little higher. I will check on the fronts, and if available, I will have the website updated.

Yes; in the works.

The Metrix were designed for bigger westcoast style outdoor tracks that groove up, but are rough/broken up. The tire has great forward traction, but reduced side-bite to reduce traction rolling in high-speed rough and bumpy sections.

The abasivness surface at Trcr shreds the silver compound compared to gold.
The blocks or thread won't bevel at a 45 angle . The gold compound hardness wear's correctly.
As a result gold tires gain the most traction.
