Hay, any ETA for TLR 4.0 and 4.0E hop-ups? :)

Nothing yet, but the Fin turnbuckles should be soon.

Soo I may be a little slow. I have been running pro-line primes on tlr wheels and just picked up some smoothies to try out. On the pro-line tires the bead fully sits down in the rim and feels secure, the smoothies just have this flat bead section. How do i glue these up? Thank you

iirc primes are both 2.2 and 2.4. The smoothies are only 2.4. Are you trying to mount 2.4 smoothies on 2.2 wheels? I don't believe TLR makes a 2.4 wheel. So you'll need some JC 2.4 wheels.

Hi folks quick question smoothies 60mm what kind of wheels other than jconcept wheels? I am confused 60mm will fit to any 2.4 wheels not 2.2? Waiting for input thanks.

They will work on anything that's 2.4
Jc 60mm bullet wheels
AE 61mm wheels
It's all the same thing.

2.2 tires and wheels are completely different wheel and tire bead.

TLR also makes 61mm wheels;

This was just covered a few post down .

All 2.2 Gold Dirt Webs arrived last week and have already been shipped to all dealers/Dist.

60mm/2.4 Gold Dirt Webs are in stock on the site.

Unfortunately the alloy hop-ups don't do well for us on the TLR side, so we will not be making any at this time.

New Hybrid 8th scale wing on my EB48.3 :sneaky:

Interesting, if one is not a perfect driver, how long lexan wing will last on 8th scale? :)

xxx123 03-02-2016 07:13 AM

you have a few b5m bodies? Do they serve differently or just look differently? Thanks

They are surprisingly thick and the Hybrid center piece reinforces the lexan quite well. Give one a shot!

They definitely look sick :sneaky:

A little of both, but it's much like FORD vs Chevy...LOL You can ask 10 people the differences in handling, looks, etc and you will get 8 different answers .

I personally have switched completely over to the newer S2 bodies for my cars and it's been great regardless of track conditions.
