Are the tires that were brought to the Worlds going on-sale this winter to the general public?

There was one tire that I wanted to give a shot. If they are I'll wait a bit to do my winter makeover purchase.

I don't have any firm eta, but based off previous releases I would hope for mid/end of December or first of Jan.

OK that is plenty of time before May. Thanks.

Just curious.

I recently picked up a Yokomo B2Max. I had a Finnisher body #0236.
(Initially I thought it would fit a different buggy, but it didn't match as well, so its just been sitting).

My Bmax2 MR is set up for Mid-Motor config, and when I attempted to mount the body, it seems as though it stretched a bit on the side and doesn't seem to fit as Snug as I would have thought.

The Finnisher IS designed to work R or Mid configurations correct, just trimming differently?

I'm not complaining, just curious. It does have a touch of velcro around the chassis (rough side) but to compare the similar Finnisher for my B4.2, It seems to have a better fit, even allowing for Velcro. (I see the Body has since been discontinued).

I get this confused if I put washers under the ball on the chassis at the tower on the b4.2 will that raise the roll center or lower it?

Thanks. Just what I was looking for.

Now, what do we have here? Haha. Thanks.

I would really like to get a Finnisher body on my B5rm. I tried cutting an RB6 Finnisher and while it was close I wasn't happy with the fit around the front of the car. Has anyone tried the B5M Finnisher on the B5? Would I have better luck with the C4.2 Finnisher? I'm not afraid to cut and trim, just want to try to get as close as I can the first time. Thanks!

The 0236 body is made for the Bmax2, which is an RM only kit. The MR kit is MM only and has a completely different chassis/side-pod shape, so the 0236 will not fit. The only body we offer for the MR is the 0242 Silencer.

Raise the roll center - you will get more roll.

Nothing is going to fit properly, chassis shape is to different. I actually just finished the production Finnisher for the B5 RM and it should be announced next week :sneaky::cool:

Yes, but still in prototype/testing stage :batman:

Just the stock kit shocks for the TLR22 2.0

Very happy to hear a new B5 Finnisher is on the way! The Finnisher is the first cab forward body I really liked, I had one on my B4.2 and am glad to see it on the B5 series.

are there any plans for a hybrid, slitter or pressure point tire for the 60mm 10th tires around the corner?

I would love to run dirt-webs but our track does not have a clean enough line. also looking for these in a 2wd and 4wd front.

rider313 10-13-2014 04:20 PM

Just trim the bead flange off the existing standard tires and mount them to the 60mm wheels. I just mounted up some splitters yesterday this way. Works awesome.

I'm not sure of all the tires planned for the 60mm setup, but like rider said, it's really easy to trim the 2.2" tire bead off and mount to the new wheels. You will just need to newer 60mm inserts/wheels.

Btw...It's splitters :blush::D

Perfect. i didnt know if that would work. I will do that when needed.

I have used another brands insert made for the new rims in the 2.2 tires for a flatter profile and they have been working well there.
