It's also on the list, but has been pushed back. Maybe a summer release.

Are there any plans for either a Xflow or Silencer for the XB4?

Rear 1/10 Dirt Webs - MSRP $19 + tax !?!?
I hope these are incredible since I paid almost 2x the price of Bar Codes :tire: |

I really enjoy the dirt web fronts. The rears are great as well, but I tend to favor the pressure point more, personally. I have used the DirtWeb fronts from indoor high grip, to outdoor fluff (where everyone else was on homemade DD fronts, or rips) and have had plenty of steering and consistency in all situations.

They are great in hard packed clay situations. It's when you get to a track like LRH that is still wet 100% clay. Just gobs them up with clay and useless. Bar Codes still best all around tire there. Not the fastest mind you, but the most consistent. Let a class of 8th scale and SC trucks run before buggy and I am sure they would be the go to tire, but since 4wheel drive buggy, then stock buggy are at the top of the show, not so good, no so much.

Hey all...I was wondering if i could get a suggestion on tires for a track i plan on going to. The track is located in Santa Barbra CA. It's typical SoCAL weather 70-80. Its outdoor hard pack with a film of dust on top. I tried the thread here for the track but its dead with no input. Here is a video of the track
and some pics of the dirt from the website. Any help would be appreciated. http://static.squarespace.com/static...g?format=1000w http://static.squarespace.com/static...g?format=1000w http://static.squarespace.com/static...g?format=1500w |
What class will you be running on that track?
2wd Buggy, I would suggest: Rear: Blue Double D w/molded foam, Blue Hybrid w/molded foam (I just like molded foams, not everyone does) Front: Green rips w/ 3/4 rear foams, or blue barcodes w/ 3/4 rear foams (again just the foam I like) It looks hard packed, doesnt look like it will neccessarily "blue groove", also being dirt vs clay, I would stay with something that has a little more lug. You could also try a Green splitter(rears only offered) for if it does ever groove up to med/high bite. But I don't know on those specific conditions how they would react. |
