Can't decide with MBX5T or Losi 8T?

I know this will cause some issue's.
I plan on racing either one, the tracks that I race at are medium tight to large open.
I also plan on using a .21 engine.

Please let me know. This is killing me! LOL

Personally, I'd stick with Mugen. The Losi has some nice ideas, and is fast in the hands of the pros, but I've got my doubts about the offcenter pinion, small diff bearings, and the likelihood of a standard chassis layout in the future. Just my $.03

Also depends alot on your driving style. The 8 (and so potentially 8t) drives a bit like a touring car, and to be fast you need a bit more throttle control as it doesn't respond as well to slam and jam driving. I would imagine that the driving characteristics of the buggy would be evident in the truggy to some extent. I personally like the driving response of the 8, but I can see why one would prefer the mugen, as the losi is seems twitchy and very sensitive to input.

That aside, I haven't has any problems with wear in the losi 8 layout, other than those caused by my own idiocy.
