What conditions would the MG16 be used in, and is it any good?

plus a 4 wheel electric is definetely not for bashing. one they can be costly and there are purpose built for racing. the cen is a good car but they do have a new model and no its not out yet. the revo by far is the best for what you described what you want to do. and not as costly as a 1/8 nitro and the parts support no matter where you go will be great and it comes with everything but fuel and AA's. plus a dvd to teach you how to tune your motor.

dude lol are you obsessed with cen or somthing? not to be offencive but most of there stuff is crap. and they have horible parts suport. if you are going to bash go with the revo,lst2,hpi trucks monster gt or a big name like that. also go to your lhs and see what they have the best part suport for and try to go with that company for the truck.

not obsessed lol, just looking for something below $400 and the CEN truck is only $300

Hey electric is fine. Nitro isn't the only way to go
Hey just so you know electric 4 wheel drive trucks are fine for bashing also who says they are more costly that isn't always the case. because with nitro's you have to run glow plugs and fuel all the time and they can break just as easy as the electric also you have a extra servo to deal with and a reciever pack. Granted with electric you have batteries to deal with and a speed control etc.. But I would say most people starting out in nitro go with a rtr version and then break parts and then endup buying alot of aftermarket parts and making the cost highly. But the same can be said for electric
Also I have seen people take electric stampedes for what conditions he wants to drive on and also the electric maxx would suit the trick. But with any rc if he runs on snow he better have everything sealed good with the electronics. Also if there is snow that means it might be to cold for running nitro as it isn't the greatest on the engines running in cold temps.
plus if he goes electric and let's say he wants to race it in winter indoors he will have more places that will race electric indoors than nitro.

Those trucks are a little over my budget, even though i probably wouldnt regret it. Would anyone happen to know if this one is any good? Im not familiar with the brand and the website doesnt have much info.
