The TR is simply a CVR in rear exhaust format. Good smooth power. Not rediculous, but still more than enough for the truck.

If you want to sell that TR, let me know. AWESOME motor for 1/10th gas truck. I've been looking all over for a new one (rotary carb).

I have one that is brand new, that I bought off of these forums and paid 100 bucks. But (and its a big but), it comes with a slide carb. I have never used the engine and its in perfect shape. LMK.....PM me or email: formand at gmail dot com

Okay George, you got me confused....lol. Did you buy a TR or a TG? And you said you had to buy a rotary carb separate, but then you said they don't offer a slide carb version. You're killin me...lol.
If you bought the TG, don't they offer it with the rotary carb, and with the threaded shaft that can be cut and used in the GT2 with the NTC3 clutchnut??

Welcome to the Cherry world. Yes the TG is offered in rotory version. I am sure George meant that the rotory was just out of stock with distributors.

Rotary TG versions have been on back order for a long time now ....

So I had to order the slide carb TG version, with a rotary carb on the side ....

Oh heck, no apologies necessary...I was just wondering if their was something that I didn't know.
I'm planning on putting a GT2 together hopefully before spring, and I am trying to build my "database" of info so I know what works and what doesn't...lol.

Thanks, Brad
