Default Bowtie tire lip?

I bought a set of Bowties for an 1/8 scale buggy and noticed the tires had a lip on the gluing edge of the one side of the tire and not the other, i'm guessing this is possibly for a better bond to the rim?

Which side should i put it on?

I know,,, I know,,, Im always on the computer I have know life!!!

Just my opinion but I would put it on the side where theres gonna be more impact !!! So I would have to go with the outside!!!! If that is what the lip is 4?
It would make sense that way for better bonding purposes!
