Default Gearing

The stock GT2 is geared at 54 and 20. Should I be looking at using something different at the track?

Thats very broad, you have to tune to the track.

That 20 tooth will work quite well on every track If the track is on the large side, then a 21 would help top end whereas a 19 would help on a tight course.
