31 this year. I reckon about $15,000 AUD in the past two years I feel really good about it too coz I love racing.

Got married two weeks ago to the most amazing and beautiful woman. I realise that I have to slow down on my spending now but am thankful that I spent so much in the past couple of years because I've got a HUGE stock of spares and tires AND my wife races with me

Problem is, I'm tempted to get the TC5 and try lipos and perhaps get a new radio later this year and when I upgrade, I feel guilty if I don't give her the same quality stuff that I have. I'm stocked up to survive at least this year I think (yeah right) so all I have to do is not log on to Losi Parts House at all (yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

God, I wanna log on right now and send Steve a cool thousand, just for being a cool guy...

Great thread

36 here and I have around 2 grand into my buggy in the year that I have been back in to RC's. I gave it up for 15 years when my 1st kid was born.

It's funny looking at my Rc's though (i still have them) 3 completly different generations of RC tech. Got my 1st one in 1984 (Kyosho Assault), got my 2nd in 1990 (Kyosho RTR on road car), and now the jammin last year.

36 and i thought this would be a way to not spend so much on my race bikes. well i have spent the same and then some in some cases. now that i am down to justy one race bike and my streetbike i go to work on, i have double in my r/c's than in my bike. for what i have spent i could race the 1000 three times.

I'm 14 and have spent a few thousand. This is the biggest addiction. But it keeps getting better and better with all the new brushless, lipos, and the other stuff to make your truck go faster. It's pretty bad when the electronics in one of my truck costs more than 3 times what the stock truck would cost.
