I got my hands on one! JK. But I did finish building my own X-60 truck. It was a lot of fun. Extended the X6 chassis by a little less than 1/2 an inch (due to alignment issues). Although the chassis is not perfectly flat (due to the setup equipment that I had available), I think that it will be a fun car to run. I took it off the jump at my local offroad track and the chassis did not break. That was something that I was very worried about.

I will take some pictures and post them this week. Still waiting on getting my body back after being painted. Hoping to race my first truck race this Friday.

I have the following parts on my truck:
GT2 arms, castor blocks and knuckles, K-Factory Carbon Fiber front shock tower, Losi shocks, Extended X6 shock tower in the rear, custom B44 battery straps, XRay turnbuckle mounts, and the rest is T4 stuff.

Thank you for all that helped me get this car built (especially Paul). I had a lot of fun building the project and cant wait for the real one to come out.

Where did you find a K-Factory shock tower? I've been looking all over for one.

One of the local drivers here had one on his T4 that he was selling. I gave him my GT2 front tower and some cash and he sold it to me. I think that it is awesome.

When I was originally looking for one I couldnt find one anywhere. I emailed the KFactory folks (I believe its part of Team Magic) and they sent me a link to purchase one. Unfortunately I deleted the email link.

Also a google search should provide some places online that are selling them. Unfortunately no one is located in the US. =(

I will keep you posted if my local hobby shop gets any more in. I know they have been searching for them for a while as well. During the Winter Rage, I heard that Brian Kinwald got his hands on the last few that they had.

I ran my new X6 this last weekend. Love the buggy. I ran stock but everyone else ran mod. I was passed on the straight but made up time and sometimes passed mods in the infield because of the great handling of the buggy. It was a cold very windy day; but my X6 was very stable. Some guys came over to see why it worked so well. I am running lipo across the chassis and the four gear tranny.............sssswwwweeeettttt.......

Hello. I am new to the X6 family. I bought my kit about 4 months ago and I just got the time to put it together. I built it on a B4 chassis I bought off eBay for $50. So some of the parts dont look new and a couple of things need correcting (like replacing all ball and cups with Schumacher ones). I am very impressed with the kit itself. Very high quality and rather easy to assemble. I do have a problem, when the hell did XFactroy change the motor mount? I had a problem seeing some of the photos in the instruction manual and called up the XFactory. They were great and directed me to the web site and the color photos. It was here that I noticed the motor mount in the photo was on the left hand side and mine was on the right. Not to mention it was mounted to a 2 gear transmission. This fixes a problem that was plaguing me from the start, motor torque effect on traction under acceleration. I am going to be very upset at my dealer if I bought an older kit when a newer one was available. Anyhow I have to mount the electronics but here a a couple of photos. I have a new body getting painted now and hope to have it in a few days.

Here it is next to my brushless Jato
