I just posted the set-up I've been running a lot lately on the tech page of 2wdrc; I'd recommend it as a starting point with the new 4 gear transmission. There are sheets for both Losi and AE shocks. The set-up has a ton of droop in it and the rear end feels really soft on the table, but the car feels very stable and easy to drive. Try it out, let me know what you think.

I've been watching two X6s tear me a new one on a weekly basis so I've been paying close attention to how they run. seems like the one guy drives his like a touring car and did well with it and the other drives his like a maniac both with good results. I'm more from the touring car side of things smooth into the corners and hard out while keeping a nice deliberate line.

The tearing a new one will still be happening. Once we both get are new stuff setup then The Game is one. Be interesting to see what happens. It will be at least 2 weeks til I can run again at Bumps. Hope they have a treaded tire race soon. If you get a chance check out some of the vids from that place in Utah that some of the Academy guys are racing at. It will make you drool. Track is just plain killer.

Yeah I watched them and the track does look killer. I think the next treaded race is the third week in January. I'm really hoping this car gets here by Friday I can get it together for sure, but I might have to run that slime body from yours The B4 is already stripped down and I should have the shocks and diff rebuilt before anything gets here. When you ordered parts did they send you a shipping notification or did your stuff just show up?

You know you love that body.

As long as it was shipped by today you should have it for the weekend. It is only coming from Ohio and Priority Mail from that area is 2 days at most. I know my order was placed on a Sunday and had it buy Thursday only because they where not in the shop til Monday late so it shipped Tues. I'm pretty sure you will get it in time. If not take your time and just run 4wd this week. I ran my car for the big race and really wasn't ready to do so and I paid the price. I won't run again till I get all the stuff I need and til I make some new tires as well.

I will look forward to January and the next rea race. It is more fun.

I wanna run this car this week because otherwise I won't get to run it until after the new year. I think I'm shelving the 4wd for a while now that I have the car working well I wanna focus on 2wd and getting myself back into the top 5 every week instead of fighting just to make the A.

Well with the new stuff just getting finished and only have one or maybe two people getting everything together takes a little longer. You know its worth the wait so don't get too mad about it. Just get mad when I can still beat you once you get the new car.

Keep in mind that it is the christmas season for usps shipping. On a normal 3 day delivery from an online hobbyshop it just took 7 days for me to get my order!

I can't wait to see you next few weeks at Bumps. Maybe we can get a bunch of guys to go to McCullough's after the first of the year. I would like to make the Dec 22nd big race but don't think I can swing it.
