Default More speed!!!!

I got my first nitro rc car today an hpi firestorm, man after the break in that thing rips!!!! I dont have a temp checker cause it slipped my mind at the hobby shop and the kid working didnt say i needed one, so without it being tuned it tore up my street!!!! I want more speed and excelleration! How can I get more torque and top speed from it excluding regular engine tuning? Im addicted!

im not sure how the clutch is on those. but you could put a stiffer clutch spring to give it more torque. and put a different sized spur for more top speed. combine those and you get a slight mroe torque and a little more top too.

like i said. its universal on all trucks. stiffer clutch spring will yank the tranny harder though. it will give a lot more torque though.
