Default Pro-line R3 tires on regular tracks?

Anybody know how well an R3 compound tire from pro-line will work on a track that is not pure clay? More a track with your typical mix of clay and other types of dirt, so it just barely blue grooves. Generally a dry and slightly dusty track as well. The tire specifically in question is a rear buggy holeshot on a Lazer ZX-5.

Thanks for any input!

I would not recomend the r3 compound for the conditions you mention. The only reason you might want r3 in the rear is to loosen the rear end to help it corner if you are not running a one way. I have a sbv2 pro and race on a similar track surface to what you mentioned. I ran m3 inside jobs in front and r3 inside jobs in on the rear for a while, but then put in a one way in and went to m3 holeshots all around.

The sbv2 pro is made by MRC. It's a 4wd electric car.
