Thanks for all the replies guys

Is there any complete tool kit that I can purchase so I can fully dissamble the car?

Is there a tune-up I can do on the car?

I know for my regular car that includes plugs, wires, fuel and air filter, but I'm not sure what the tune up for this little guy is

Thanks!

next time you go to your LHS ask them about a tool kit for the losi xxx-nt (or a kit that will work with the losi company). next thing i'd do is check for any parts that need replaceing.

btw, i have a few rear suspension arms (the things your shocks hook on to. probably around 4 in. long and an inch wide. connects to the chassis. found in the rear.) and if you want them, PM me your address and i'll ship them to ya for free. 2 are for the left side and 1 is for the right. (if you look from the rear). probably $8.00 worth.

lmk. i'd be happy to give them to ya

alex.

As for the tune-up, being second hand, I'd probably replace the air filter, fuel filter (if it doesn't have one, get one), clutch bearings and maybe clutch shoes, depending on wear. I'd also give it a good clean, and check that the other bearings are in good shape. Also remember to get a good quality air filter oil designed for this kind of application. The right stuff is a really sticky, almost honey like consistency.

Losi sells full hex wrench sets, just need to find out if yours has imperial or metric scews then get the matching set:

I don't have a manual, so that is a real bummer. I bet there is a ton of valuable info in there.
you can download a manual from teamlosi.com

the rears are set up for toe-in for handling purposes. actually when i ran the xxx-nt i opted for more rear toe-in by way of different hubs offered by team losi. an old tooth brush and an air compressor are great for cleaning it up. warm water and soap for the body as it will cake up with oil from the exhaust. some simple green also just before you blow it off and then some wd-40 in the bearing areas and the hinge pins areas are good also.

Hey guys which manual is best to download for my truck it didn't come with one.

I found the older XXX-NT on there, but it's only exploded views of the parts, no operations manual like I have found for the other vehicles.

I want to read up on the suggestions for tuning, suspension, etc.

Should I just download the XXX-NT RTR2 RE or will that be totally different than my truck?

Thanks!
