I prefer the M11... I have been using mine for the past year, and have an M8 as backup... Airtronics also has the 2.4 ghz in the works... Won't be any need for the Spektrum module soon...

check out the JR Z-1 and KO Helios.

bmainhobbies.com has good prices on radios, $365 I think for new M11 and Spektrum pro setup.

also, Ultimatehobbies.com usually has good prices.

Ive had an M8 then an M11 and now I have a competition model Helios C2.
dont worry about features because you wont use 99% of them on any of them, get what feels right to you and which menu system you feel comfortable. My KO took about a week for me to get used to the menu system.

I would not quite say that, I did not like the way how the M11 felt in my hands I did not have a enough grip and it did not feel very well in my hands. With the Futaba I had more grip and it felt much better in my hands then the M11 did.

I've owned both. Had the M11 and sold it for a 3PKS. In my opinion there's no comparison - the Futaba is far superior in every way. It feels better, the switches and dials (especially the dual rate dial) are in better reach and the menus are easier to access. The screen is also better, I found the M11 way too cluttered where the Futaba is really nicely laid out.

Plus, if you're not using Spektrum, Futaba gives you the option of PCM, which is ideal for nitro with a built in fail safe, and HRS, super high speed if like me you race indoor carpet in the winter. Hope that helps.

Yes that does help thanks. I am to just going to get into indoor carpet racing too, it sounds like the futaba has a little more furters then the M11 does.

Apples and oranges. Have you considered the KO Helios? It is a very capable and comfortable unit (and you can change the grips for that custom feel)?

Yes I have considered the KO helios it is a nice raido too. The thing is that is easer for me to get the futaba or the airtronics cause of parts and being a ble to buy either radio at just about any hobby shop, the ko helios are a little harder for me to get.
