Default Piranha DTXP 4000 charger

Hey guys i won a charger off a ebay a PIRANHA DTXP 4000 here the link to it I am wondering like it says only charge Ni-Cd battery and 2000 mAh. I am wondering has anyone try to charge a Ni-Mh battery on it? And has anyone try to charger a higher mAh like 3000 or something? because i am wondering. Also did i get this charger for a good deal? It will charge to a max of about 3300 because it does 4.5 amps and times out at 45 minutes. I use mine for nimh just fine and it slightly overcharges because it was designed for nicads.
