Default MAXAMPS 4400 LIPO IN BJ4WE?

Can anybody tell me if the maxamps 4400 saddle pcks fit in bj4we without any modification?

you might have to do a little dremel work to the battery slots but not much if you want to see pics go to rc10b4.com there is a thread on there , i am also going to go this route in my bj4 too , looks like a very fast set up

I put the maxamps 5500 packs in because the 4400 were so light. I still had to add 2 onces of lead between the batteries to make up the weight, otherwise its just too light in the rear. Also I made some trays to hold the packs in place. I'll try to post some pics later.

I have the 4400 max amps pack. I am actually the first person to get the saddle pack from max amps. I use the BJ4WE and did no modification to the battery tray, however I am using a longer screw on the battery hold down posts. If you go to rc10b4, and search for user 'mattnin' you can find pictures of my bj4we with the 4400 saddle packs.

I added no weight, and I softened the rear end a bit. I am using brown springs and 25 wt oil on a medium sized track, loose dusty with technical jumps.
