Default Mamba Max, brushless only?

Is the mamba max a brushless only system or can it do brushed motors?

It can do both. I just ran my new Mamba Max this weekend with brushed motors. It worked great all weekend. Very adjustable speedo and very easy with the Castle software. Can ever work on adjustments without even turing your speedo on.

I raced with my MM/Orion 12X2 one day... it worked great. It's smooth and gives a ton of power. (It was a big improvement compared to the old Cyclone I used to run with that motor)

Two thumbs up IMO for brushed motors!

sure it's possible... but it won't fit any classes unless you have a 4wd 1/10 twin motor truggy class
