[QUOTE=xxx-ntad2 racer]don't mean to be bothersome, but this website says theres around 12 freq. choices.

sorry should have been more clear. on that list the single color freq. are the ones that have been allowed by the fcc for use in the usa. the other six are used in other countires, but there have been some pros bringing those freq. back home with them.

steven the issue you describe is far more serious than motor capicitors. i still think some one with higher quality radio is on your freq. also since they are rtrs and you haven't moved any of the electronics around, that you don't have to worry about the batter wires being right next to the antenna wire or that the antenna is anywhere near your motor. those two things would give you fits as well. from there i would try another set of crystals, your may have been damaged in shipping, or the reciever itself was damaged. after doing all these checks, may still need to call your 1-800 numbers for each car and speak with them. also go through your trouble shooting section in your manuals, and also make sure you did install the antenna as it was decribed. on a rtr it is vital that the antenna is mounted properly.

steven19,
Sounds like a frequency conflict, does your cars operate ok at home or away from the track? Losing control outside 10 ft is a sure sign that someone else is operating on your frequency.

yep no biggy. there are some very odd freq. used in japan and the surrounding areas. if you look at the entry list for the cactus classic you will see these and some others from the europe area as well.
