That NEW Mid-motor yoke is just a conversion kit for the MX4. I wonder how much of a diff it makes though. I am curious to see how much the conversion kit is going to cost. I still have my MX4, give me the oppurtunity to convert it and give me the feeling I have an all new car!

Taz_S: Did you get those pics off of Team Orions site or from the Yoke site?

that new mx4 conversion kit looks tight! I know some fellow racers here with mx4's who'd love to hear that a new conversion is coming out.

Don't think that 2wd is actually a Yokomo factory car. There were pics of it in a UK mag a few months ago. I think they were from the LRP meeting in Germany. The mag report said that it was a scratch built car built by some german guy using a lot of Yokomo parts.

Did it say whether or not he entered any big races with it and or how well he placed with it? Yeah, most of the suspension components look like MX4 units, even the C-hubs and front hub carriers look like MX4 units! It does give me the impression that it is scratch built due to the MX4 parts, but who knows, I have heard rumours that Yokomo did have plans to introduce their own 2wd buggy!

I think the car was run at that meeting (LRP) looking at those pics I wouldn't be surprised if they were taken there as it has schumacher mini pins on it. Didn't mention if it had been run anywhere else.
