Yea it would be nice to see the car race.

I wish Yok would make a car so it not just AE and Losi all the time.

Default MR4BC Tires & Wheels

Can anyone tell me what sort of tire inserts should I use for my MR4BC? I've got a MR4MT but change the wheels and tires but don't know which type or brand of tire inserts I should get for dirt/asphalt surface.

Please anyone could give their suggestions, set-up and recommendation on their MR4BC buggy.

I have set-up the following:

kit (box) stock set-up (camber rod lengths, etc.)
center one-way (for MR4TC)
35wt oil on all shocks
stock mini-pin tires

our tracks here is loose dirt and the stock tires that came with the kit have good and enough traction

my big problem is bottoming out. thanks for any help.

Hi there! I'm new to offroad but not to RC. I"m really into onroad TC but after watching my friends have fun driving their 4WD buggies I decided to give it a try. I'm choosing betwwen a Yokomo Works 93 & the new MX-4. I know that the Works 93 is an old car but it is being offered to me at a really low price considering that it has been run only twice. Can the Works 93 still be competitive or I'm only throwing away good money. Tnx

i am about to start one myself, if anyone is intersted i can take some constuction shots as i go, should improve the somewhat mediocre performance the MX4 has on grass tracks. And scott was saying he found the upgrade really nice, really quick.

My club's mod 4wd class is mostly made up of XX-4s (and a XXX-4) and Cat 3000s but the fastest is a Yokomo YZ-10, driven by the owner of my LHS. He has won more than 5 championships and is leading the current one. It just shows that if you drive well you can win even with old equipment.
(he's done the same thing with a TRX-1 in 2wd)

PNG, no it cant, Yz10 hubs are square with 4 hole mounting and the BC wheels are hex, with 3 holes. Why do you want to mount them on the yz10? I would say change the hub but the YZ10 hubs have a set screw, BC/MX4 hubs are mounted with a pin and a nut locking them on. So therefore nope. Do you need YZ10 wheels? I may have some, looking for 2.0 for the first yz10, 2.1, or 2.2 for the last yz10? Let me know I may have some, new in the packages.
