nova rossi 086 or 053. Yes they are expensive, but the engine was designed around these pipes, you will get the most out of your motor with one of these. You can use RB equivalents though, sometimes the nova pipe aren't readily available sometimes.

If you don't mind a soft bottom use the 086 pipe ,if you want good bottom and really don't need tons of top end use the 053 . The Hot Mod version is a bit soft on the bottom from my experience. I think the engine has DEADLY bottom stock ,I personally like it smooth but strong from bottom to top and this is what I think Hot Mods was shooting for . You may need to play with headers to get just what you want. If your a rookie you may want to seek help from a experienced engine tuner.

Tried the 2050 and it didn't work as well as I thought . Went back to 086 three chamber . THe 2060 is really designed for the new VSpec Speed .

the mugen 1005 is supposed to be really good with that engine in stock form but i'm unsure of what it would do to a modified engine. for sure, either the 053 or 086 (both 2 chamber pipes) would work well depending on whether you want mileage (053) or power (086)...at least that's the way i remember hearing it. the os 2060 is a mid to top end pipe so it might work well on a really big track.

The rossi 5 ports love 086 pipes i run the ofna versions they are thin and make huge power from bottom to top but dent like a soda can.

what about a JP-1, 2 or 3? I have several 5 ports (mod and stock/JP, Max, Nova) and I love these pipes. I change them out based on track condition.

the jammin pipes work good, but the motor was designed to work around the nova pipes, you won't quite get everything out of the motor like you would with the nova pipes.

hey pat ill give ya the best combo, for the buggy, use an ofna 086 pipe with a jammin header this makes a very balanced power but still very very strong and fast , wicked fast if you can find one an rs competitions rs-2032 pipe is the best pipe for the 1/8th scale trucks (truggy)

later Monty Houston

Alright HOUSTON as long as it makes me as fast as you.I`ll be out there soon to see if I can find some skills to keep up with you and all the boys.I didn`t get that much of a chance last year to hone my skills.Hey my ofna counterpart hows it going?Wish I coulda ran last weekend at C&C but my girl and I had plans so I could not make it.V-spec is still around but I have not got around to replacing the bearings and rod after it`s little mishap, just wanted to try a NOVA and have been very Ebay happy gathering parts for SUMMER.That shiot is addictive
