So, which is better: the 5700, 7700 or 4700?

ok it does come with esc and motor. all for 180. yes it is computer programable. the 5700 is best because ti will atcually work in a rustler. the 7700 wont be able to get enough power from a 6 cell battery and to build your own is expensive. no you will not need a wheelie bar nor can you get one for the rustler. you might be able to fit a stampede one on, but not one designed specifically for the rustler. speed wise your looking at around 45 or so on stock gearing.

i guess i was proven wrong. well it depends on what you want out of the part. if you want to race then go graphite because tis lighter. if you are a basher, go ahead and get graphite. your going to have a huge motor so you will still be able to go fast and all that. and fi you have aluminum you might not need the wheelie bar. because it will be haevier and all that. also get bigger tires. some moabs or pro-line dirt hawgs or something. somethign all terrain and big.

and no lowgeared your wrong. plastic does bend but thats good in most cases because when it bends it puts less stress on other parts. graphite doesnt bend at all though. it will rbeak though. if oyu are out to look good and bash, then aluminum is your best bet in my opinion.

the only problems i have with aluminum is that it scratches and looses its clean look.

From my experience I used to run brushed motors for stock classes and have had many issues with brushes hanging up and wearing out prematurely. I run a Novak 6.5 brushless setup in my XX4 and have no problems at all. A bit expensive, but well worth the cost. Just make sure you get the gearing on the brushless motors correct for proper operation.
