You shouldn't, but it's gonna be a bitch to tune in this weather. Especially for a noob to nitro, and R/C in general.

I know not to run it in the rain, but what about if the ground is wet? Just the tires getting wet is okay right?

For a few reasons I would assume that he wants to find out, firstly to see how you like the car, secondly it is used, and it is also a RTR. Although there is not much difference between pro and RTR, there is a difference in quality of parts.

Says it's in working condition, and only run 3 weekends... If it works than i'll be happy.

RTR is okay for a 1st timer isn't it?

For $300 at the hobby shop i probably couldn't even get a Duritrax RTR haha

Nothing is wrong with the Duratrax for noobs. In fact that's who they are made for.

-there is nothing wrong with rtr. Sometimes the quality is not as good. BUt you got a great deal, so it is worth it.
-A lot of racers have been burned off of ebay, so they are a bit leary.
-Running in 45-50 is ok, I have done it many times, it is just way harder to tune your engine, and it is harder on the little engines as well.

As long as you feel you got a good deal...and you're happy with the car...who cares what anyone else thinks. NOW GO BURN SOME NITRO!
