assuming that your needing it for your starter. like a rotor starter right? because starter boxes use a different battery. there are a couple though that do use two 6 cell packs. for what your using them for id look for something around 35 bucks for 3300mah sports packs and a charge like from duratrax will be around 40 to 50 bucks and will do just what you need. no sense in going high end there.

Most RTR kits are not ready to go out of the box. Like AzBobby said, a cheap sportpack should work, I ran an 1800 venom in my starter thing, but it was also for teh traxxas one. Any sportpack will work, I recommend you get NiMH over NiCd, cause Nicad suck. Chargers, about anything will work for this application, but since you are going to need batteries for your radio, ( get rechargables as well) a decent charger will work, the Piranha from tower will be good for your application, and should do both the radio and the starter wand battery, and if you wanted your rx pack. All of those should be charged between .5 and 1 amps, you can go higher, but it is not worth it, you do not need extra boost, and the higher the amps, the less life your batteries have.
Probably going to have to get a glow igntier as well so plan accordingly.

Doesn't really matter. I just used a 1700ah nicad with my revo and try to get a charger that will charge around 3 - 5 amps

Cheers

If you are getting the jammin rtr, you are going to need a d cell for the glow plug igniter as well. I would also recommend a charger for your receiver pack, the wall mount charger that came with mine didn't work. For the receiver and roto start battery I got the dynamite pit charger. It was cheap and came with everything I needed. I use a venom 1800 pack for the roto start.
