Jato rims????

A friend owns a 3.3 Traxxas Jato, We race up and down the street and play around but He has no good traction with the stock anaconda tread tires.

I see on E-bay lots of used tires and rims some new and used.

My question is what rims will fit the Jato?

I see groups of mounted tires and rims for a T3/T4 or XXX-T or MF NT will these rims fit the Traxxas Jato?

Thank-You
Jonathan

for a wider selection you might go down a wheel size 2.2 . Just a suggestion!

?

you list on your signature you have a stampede and a XXx -nt are these rims exchangeable? same question with the jato.

I dont know how the rims fit the axle!! I have a 8th scale buggy and most of those rims are universal.

2.2 rims that fit the nitro traxxas trucks...rustler, stampede... fit the jato.

So just look for nitro rustler wheels and they will work. Then you can use any 2.2 tire.

The plain white dish wheels are traxxas part #1972, 1974... for front and rear...and only $5 a pair.

Proline makes a wheel just for the jato to use 2.2 tires.
http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html
RPM wheels require extra shims or a kit from NEW ERA to use their wheels. the bearing spacing is not the same on the front between the jato and the rustler wheels on the front.

http://www.neweramodels.com/cgi-bin/...=&part_id=2748

and you have to replace two screws on the rear armswith set screws.

check the traxxas forums for more detail.
