XRAY XB8EC THREAD

I got to race mine for the first time this past weekend and really like it.
I ran into only 2 minor things during the build the bearings did not fit tightly into the bulkhead where the pinion goes through and I wasnt getting full droop in the front. But I fixed both of those issues now.
I also drilled the shock piston out to make them 4 holes which seems to give a fantastic feeling shock.
I did really well in qualifying this past weekend but ran into trouble in the main when my relatively new ceramic clutch bearings went bad and I stripped the stock plastic steering servo horn. But both of those happened after getting at least 2 full flawless hours of run time on the car.

Has anyone tried the HT Batteries Lipo for the XB8 in this? I would assume it would fit right? Has much changed with the battery box since the XB8?

The battery box hasnt changed at all. But I personally dont want to alter the weight balance by running a lighter battery so I am using a normal 1400mah nimh pack in mine.
