This is just a guess as I haven't heard anything official yet:

Chassis
Shocks (f&r)
Front shock tower
Clutch springs
Arms (f&r)
Center drive shafts
Center diff mounts
New captured links (35 2652)
Aluminum radio plate
Composite chassis braces (f&r)

This again is all I can think of off the top of my head that MAY be in the conversion.

Do the Proline and JConcepts bodies fit the EC?

Are there any shock boots that cover the shaft completely? Will the Mugen or Jammin ones work?

-mugen bodies made by proline will fit the XB8 two notes though: 1-you might want to space the body mount backabout 1/4' and 2-if you dont space it back you will have to drill a small hole in the body moiunt the get the clip going north south

as far as changes the new car has:
new chassis
new front arms
same length center shafts
new front shock tower
new shocks
new composite braces ( but the old ones will still work new ones are beefier)
new front hubs(old ones will still work just milled a little more to give more thow nothing that cant be done with a dremel)

I ran my car for the first time this weekend. I have to say that it handles great and is very responsive. This is my first Xray off road kit and it is the same great quality as the other Xray kits I have bought. The car is very easy to drive fast and mistakes can be recovered from a lot easier then what I drove in the past. It handles the rough great and jumps just as good as the big shocked competitor that I used to drive.

Red face What I just saw...

Just finished watching the WC video from Jakarta. Got to say I think the marshal had a lot to do with the Xray's problem. Wasn't sure, but once I got it on my big screen it was pretty clear the marshal hit the flywheel with his thumb. Yannik was on a horse going home too. That guy is a wheel!
Sad.

Is that the Ray Wood video? How was it? Good coverage?

Talking

It is a very good video. One time though towards the end of the main, the camera man went away from the most important action. it is worth the money though.
Sorry for the side track.
Back to Xray now.

That is one thing I did notice about this car is that the slot for the flywheel is rather large.
