Nice work. That's good creative thinking at your age. We might have a future engineer on our hands. Regardless, I am sure you will learn a lot in the process. My only criticism is I personally don't care for the XXX4 body; it's just that belt tunnel that sticks up.

Thanks. Yes I plan on being and mechanical or civil engineer when I get older.Yea I am actually thinking about cutting it off and replaceing it with a flat piece of lexan. If not after this body is no longer usable I will get a BJ4 Worlds body. Peace Ethan

I went in yesterday and got the chassis stand offs cut and mounted. The motor mount cut and mounted. The Rear shock tower cut and mounted. I also mounted the wing mount and the wing. I also did the rest of cutting of the a-arms. I got the Front shock tower cut too. Its looking real nice. Today I will be going in again to finish makeing finishing cuts and drilling the rest of the holes. Should be done by tonight. Hopefully I will have pics up by tonight or tomarrow. Peace Ethan

Well I got it put together. I decided not to use lexan rear a-arms and only use front ones. Its about 95% done. Its not completley ready to run yet. But its in the state done enough to take it to the race with me to get it signed. Check it out and let me know what you think.Sorry that some of the pics are blurry. Peace Ethan

Have you looked into trying to get a truck body?

I really like what you have done here. Also see if you are "allowed" to narrow your rims might help with the rotational mass .

Alex :thanks!

Jcfd yea I have a t3 body that i tried to fit on it . Its alittle short though. Any ideas on one that would work? The wheelbase is 11 inches.Yea I am allowed to do that but can't cuase the tires are glued. thanks

Stonzy
Thanks! Yea that would be cool to get them into production. Seems like 4wd eletric trucks haven't been very popular though. Hpi tried it but the popularity wasn't the best. So they didn't sell. I might start a business though. Makeing and selling them.

Thanks Again Guys
The next steps our to paint the body when it gets warmer, dye the wheels black.Trim chassis, get esc,and get bearings. So I not finished yet. I will update tomarrow when I get back from the race. Eventually i want to put a mamba max in it. But going to see how it goes with the brushed. People are saying I will have gearing problems. I am going to be going witha 12/87 .Peace EThan

I agree, a truck body would probably look sweeter as there aren't many 4wd stadium trucks out there. Coming along very good though

Cheers

Speaking of the driveshaft, have you thought of using BJ4 diffs? You would get a better gear ratio for off-road and the added weight.

Drift. Yea I am working on fitting this t3 body on it might work out If it does i will post pics.

Annie replied no i don' think its twekaed somethings aren't in place yet.I actually am useing the same diffs as the Bj4 uses it uses nitro tc3 diffs thats what i am useing.

Alex I am going to send the slipper clutch back to rcproductdesings so that they will fix it. I don't need a new shaft. The input shaft and cup fill up the space thats missing.

Today I went to the race and Got travis to sign the chassis and the body it looks sweet. I also go the bearings I needed.
