Default Hey guys I found a deal on a good pipe

Hey guys I went to nitrohouse.com and they have a rippled pipe for $9.95 plus shipping and it comes in purple or blue and they told me that it makes a big increase over the stock pipe on the xxxnt rtr and the rippled affect in the pipe increases the flow of fuel for a more even mixture.

You can't beat the price. Also he told me it will bolt up fine to the stock header with no problems.

Aaron If you were to replace the .15 motor on the rtr what would be your choice if money was not an option along with the pipe and manifold?

The OS .12 CV-R is a great choice as it is quite fast but also very easy to control. I wanted to spend $200+ on an engine, but it just wasnt needed. I was running with Peak .12s, the Drake .12 and and the Fantom .12 and it held up fine on the back straight but it was very easy to control while cornering. For $100 it is a damn good engine. Though my next will be the Drake .12 IF I get a chance to run at Revelation more than 1x a month.

If money is no problem? The Trinity Platinum Drake engines. It's the most powerful gas truck engine I've ever run, and it's even more driveable than many of the other engines I've used. Combined with the Drake pipe, it's crazy how smooth the powerband is, yet it has grunt like a CRF450R pulling through the gears, haha.

If you're looking for something a little less expensive, the Drake Signature Series motors are super smooth and really easy to drive, kinda like an electric car with a 19 turn. Not that they lack power, they're just really easy to drive aggressively.

Ya man, took her down to the LHS yesterday, and the guy tuned it up for me, adjusted brake, etc. What a difference! He told me he had set it up rich for the break in on the piston and sleeve, and now this thing MOVES

How's your truck running with the new exhaust pipe?

Just a bit of a gap is all you're looking for. Maybe 1-2 mm? I've never really thought of it that way...haha.

Always thinking though!!!
I have to use the primative method!!! Some can do it by sight or feel!!

Thanks my rear tires seem to be eatin away on the insides more than anywhere else so I might go 1 degree out from negative..

They came with about 3 in I think!!

The rears, you can usually get away with running them straight up and down, or even a little bit positive camber at right height.
