Well really I wouldnt recomend HOPPING IT UP TILL you get use to this fine piece of art!!!!!!

That DRAKE tuned pipe is nice!!!!! Cant really tell that much yet havent had a real good chance to run it !!!
It sounds louder and crisper!! I like that!!

Get extra parts shock towers, steering spindles and hub carriers ,A- arms ,ball sockets for all the linkages after a while they might pop out easier.. Mine havent yet but you know how it is!

If you want get graphite or aluminum or stay with the plastic!!!

Im gonna eventually get ALUMINUM SPINDLES for it cause I drive carelessly!!

soap and water is what I use

Ya probably a good idea to get some driving and tuning experience under my belt before hopping it up

It's tough because I live in Boston, and there really aren't that many places to go out and shred with the car

I have been trying to find a local track or something, where I can meet other RC guys from the area.

Hey do I have a xxx-nt sport 2 or the original xxx-nt?

Talk to you soon bro!

Awesome man, thanks!

Is there a big performance difference between RE and SE?

Just wondering, thanks for the links!

Aaron,
Just got back from the track and i find that my truck is pushing bad through the corners. Im going to first configure it like the drake dirt track set up. Right now it has the stock tires and all the shock are stock. Is there anything i Might Have over looked besides the set up?

The drake dirt setup i found is alright, i hated the toe in though, way to much steering into a corner for my liking, im not sure what you mean by pushing in the corners, its rwd.

WOW! it almost sounds like you need to just ease off a little into the turn first!!!!

Maybe you can see if the car is leaning to much into the turn causing your traction to deminish.. like the tires may be riding on the sidewalls into a turn.

Any car in the dirt that hits a corner full throttle is gonna end up in the fence!!!!
but I know what your sayin try toe in the front for more steering into the corner!

The majority of how your car works is based on tires. Run the correct tires for your surface and your truck will work better.

The Drake setup is a very good balance for the XXX-NT based trucks. It's better to have "too much" steering than not enough..you don't HAVE to turn full-lock!
