Just got off the phone with A team losi member and he just said the same thing
He said that there might be enough fuel coming out my exhaust at idle but maybe not enough for my runs!!!

By the way Lowgeared, what fuel are you using? I had a heck of a time trying to tune an engine when using a RTR style fuel. Just wouldn't hold a tune.

ODONNEL 20% Race fuel

I just picked up a triple x, ive put about 1/2 a litre through it so far, havnt had a problem at all, after the 3rd tank i tightened the diff. Is there anything else i should check at this stage? Ive only ever had 1/8 buggies before this so i have absolutely no experience with the monster diff or the clutch setup at all, im very new to it.

Motor running in, ive richened the high end and low end needle about a 8th of a turn, it seemed just a little too lean for break in, i live in Aust and its very hot and humid atm. It idles fine and temps are great, holds constant at about 100-110 C. Im goin to race tune it after ive put a litre through it.

This motor will want to run a little hot after breakin but nothing unusual! Is yours the RTR 2 with the chrome wheels and rear exhaust.

Yep its the rtr2, and yeh she is quite quick, its starting to come on nicely now. Ive been checking the diff as per the manual, holding the spur gear and rear tyre while trying to turn the other wheel towards me and its tight, does not move freely. I intend on racing it, what upgrades should i do to it? Ive ordered the kevlar spur gear but thats it, is there any upgrades for the diff gears?

Im sure its extremely competitive, so the diff gears hold up quite well? They dont strip?
