Default Kyosho SP2 Beast

My Project Kyosho SP2... 3 dragon racing black chassis, JP Racing FX21-B8N, Team Jammin JP-3 pipe, King Headz chassis braces, and GRP Grip 1/8 Buggy Tires on all 4 corners.. We will see how this setup goes this race season in St. Louis. Wish me luck on the JP break-in, I heard they can be a pain in the ass....

Looks real good. I like how the wheels match the aluminum, but you really need to change the body colour! The red clashes really bad. Something white and blue (mabye with some dark purple as well) would be good. I'm sure it will do really well. 1/8th's sure are expensive aren't they?

Man 1/8th scale anything costs alot of paper. I will be getting a guy at my local track to paint a body for me and repost the pic soon. gotta couple of months before I get to see if these JP engines live up to all the HYPE

god i hope you don't use that airfilter setup you got on that "beast"....your nice new engine will turn into shit real quickly with that.....get a real filter designed for 1/8th buggies....go for the new proline filter setup, it's "low profile" so it will sit better underneath that "custom" painted bpdy of yours..

(not trying to flame)

that air filter is on there for the time being, it's a GQ Tyres air filter, i dont think it's intended for offroad, just had it in my tool box. It looks much better than the beat down kyosho i have. You say proline has a Lo Pro air filtet, imma have to look into that..

use the stock clutch system... use 2 alloy shoes and 1 carbon.. use 1. springs and you will be dialed.

The carbon shoe allows the clutch to engage a little softer.

I have tried most all the aftermarket clutches out....

I still go back to the stock.....
