ok one, the jato isnt an onroad racer. the jato 3.3 is, but thats not even a race truck....... and the jato 2.5 has 2 speed, but put it on the track and tis just too much power. almost all race trucks can hold any standard small block. and lowgeared, the 7700 in a pede!!!! are you insane or just plain stupid?

and if you want real power and speed. lighten the truck up as much as you can and drop this into it. one of the best .18's out. very modified and very reliable. even in a drag you will probly run with a jato

Well Im not sure cause when you upgrade from 2.5 to 3.3 for traxxas models you have to buy the upgrade kit with the engine!!!! but Ill say it is small block I believe and vertually all small blocks will pop right in. Somebody will jump me if I was to say yes!!! but Im almost 75% positive it will.. not sayin might have to buy some slight mod kit with it... Somebody will clear this up for sure..

well that depends on if the 2.5 will fit into it? the 3.3 has the same mounting holes as the 2.5. it can mount anywhere a 2.5 can as long as there is room. it is a direct bolt on for the revo2.5. the only thing i had to do to fit my 3.3 onto my revo was, well..... bolt it on

and the kit to go from the 2.5 to the 3.3 is the same. i had to get one for my pede, but thats because i went from the pro.15 to the 2.5. they have the same mounting dememsions, only the 3.3's case is a little deeper and needs more room underneith
