Default Starter box help

I have a mugen starter box that i have had for a while now. It works good, but i can tell the motors are getting weak. Has anyone changed the motors out to different stronger motors? If so, what kind did ya use??

Thanks

takes a LONG time for motors to get weak, make sure its not the battery that is weak. Otherwise, if they will fit your box, go with Emaxx Titan motors.

I know, but i have brand new 3300's in it, and it still does the same thing. I have had this box for about 2yrs,about 10 motor breakin's,2 new starter wheels and not to mention weekend club races. It still turns my motor over, but i just feel the box needs a good boost...

yes you need new motors. actually i recommend two trinity monster stock motors. i wouldnt spend alot for them like from some aftermarket company just get the box stock ones. otherwise yes the e-maxx motors will work to but you can't rebuild those motors. at least the trinity ones can be rebrushed and comm cut and such.

Thanks guys for the info. I'll look into getting some powerful motors by time the season starts. For some odd reason though, my box worked perfect this weekend at the indoor champs, but i know soon as i go to run outdoors, it will act up...lol...
