Default Rustler XL5 issue

Hey guys i just got my new Rustler XL5 today. So naturally i couldnt wait to test it out. It worked good at first after i did some tweaking with the steering and throttle trim. After about 5 mins i realized my reverse stopped working. I took it inside disconnected then reconnected everything and reverse worked then soon after didnt work. I know theres all these profiles but i dont see why it would jump to another profile in the middle of my driving?? It just didnt make sense cause at times it would come back then go away again. Any ideas?? Like i said its brand new so i really doubt i ruined anything yet.

1 more thing, whats up with the battery packs barely fitting in there? My friend's pack actually did'nt fit unless we forced it and probably would've cut off the wires.

Thanks guys.

Do you mean manually setting Profile 1 through the esc? ? I though its supposed to reset to that setting as a default when the battery is disconnected then reconnected.

Anyway thanks ill give it a try.

1. disconnect motor lead 2. connect Battery 3. turn on radio set all trims to 0 4. turn on esc hold button till first red appears let off as soon as youi see it . 5. led will blink red once pull throttle all way back hold it till blinks red twice then put in brake position hold it till it turns green then your ready! hook back up and should be fine.
