Starting Problems

hi guys and gals

i have a nitro stampede by traxxas. it has no been started in over a year ad i fueled it up and the only way i can get it to run is by pressing the primer on the gas take to feed it.(and then it goes wide open but i have to keep pushing the primer to get it to stay running). does anyone have an idea that this can be????

Thank you

if it has been sitting for a year ur fule has gone bad, get some new fule. also get a new glow plug while ur at ur lhs. and bring the car to . ur lhs guy should be more the willing to help u get it all set up. if it going wot when its supposed to be at idel take off the air filter and make sure that the carb is mostly closed and it just open enough for it to idel. aslo put it back to factory settings.

Pull all the fuel lines off and clean them out. Clean out the tank. Tear the motor apart and clean it out including the carb noteing your needle settings. Use some motor spray or nitro cleaner or something of that nature. A new glow plug is a good idea like amain said. Reassemble and start then check for air leaks
