Default what to charge ib cells at

? on ib 3800 and 4200 what mv should you set the charger to one of my charger onlys goes down to 4 and the other one is 5 . any info will help thanks

Most people I know charge theirs at 5 amps. If your sponsored you can go higher for better performance but at the cost of the longevity of battery life. The higher the amperage, the more punch you'll get but less run time, lower amperage will give you more run time but less punch and possible smother throttle response. Run time is USUALLY not an issue in off road racing.

i know about the amps i need to know abount the mv setting thanks tho

For my old 38's I was at 10 mv and I bumped it up to 15 mv for the 42's.

RCblue is talking about the settings on his LRP Chargers im pretty sure.

If your saying one of your charger's only goes down to 4MV im guessing it's a regular Novak Mill.
Just charge at 5amps on Nicad Mode,Linear.
Do it at 4 and keep an eye out on the temperature.If someone has a temp sensor around them then have them check them around 3500mah's.

Your really looking for charger's that at least go down to 3mv/c or .03
This is what the IB or Intellect cells really like.
