what .21 engine.

im looking for a good decent .21 engine. this engine will be reaced competivley at ther glorcs and some rc proserises races. i tried out the v-spec last year and was not impressed. i have yet to try a rb or ninja. the 4 that i have been looking at is the novarossi bf.21, novarossi p5x, ninja b01a and the rb ws3. also what pipes are hooking up good. iv heard good things about os 2050 and the ofna or hong nor 058. il need a bottem end and a top end pipe.

Not impressed with the VSpec? wow..

Picco P7-R Evo, best engine I've used to date.

ya i got the v-spec with a 2 gal on it. it was running like a pice of Shi7 to i put a brand new p/s/r with new bearing and still ran horibly so i got rid of it. lol the picco was my next engine didnt mind it just didnt lirk the power range it had so im looking for something new.

Yeah the Picco is a little thin on the bottom end, it feels like an electric motor to me.

I like it so much I'll probably sell the NIB V-spec Ive got.

You CANT go wrong with a p5 though!

Alot of people I know don't like the V-Spec. My vote goes towards the RB WS. Great strong engine

Cheers

P5X and be done with it.

thats what i was thinking was the p5x . aslo think about the ninja for a back up. what pipes go good with the p5x and the ninga?

p5x w/ ofna 086 is a sweet combo for truggy and buggy.

The new Dynamite .21 engine rocks smooth bottom with a ton of top. I run it with the new Dynamite .053 pipe & Hp8 Blue Thunder fuel. I got 12:00 min of run time on a tank with this combo. :)

If you want a Nova get the new Plus series (which is a upgraded version of the P5 ) or the Ninja :D

#1 RB hands down
#2 P5, always a good choice

On the Pipe, I never understand why guys will spend $300 on a motor & then kill its performance with a cheap knock-off pipe. GET A GOOD PIPE (Nova or RB). My favorite for RB's right now is the RB192 header & the RB2020 pipe. I am hearing (& seeing) good results with the new RB2045 pipe. Trust me I've run the ofna pipes as well as some others and they do not work as well as the NovaRossi's & RB's. If you must use a cheap pipe then you might as well get a cheap motor too.

Oh ya the OS Vspec is very fast until the main bearing goes which is soon. Almost everyone at my track has given up on the Vspec, they just don't last.

You might also look at the Radical 621T torque engine. Good power with smooth bottom end and a lot of top end. Great fuel mileage too and they last a long time. The only real negative is they cost around $280-300 at most shops and you need to use the OS P3 turbo plug. However considering how long they are lasting the extra $50 compared to a P5x might be worth it.

you could also try the race factor go .21 5 port engine i hear really good thing aout this motor, the bottom end of the vspec and a better top end as well, its also pretty cheap at 199 american. i will be running one in my 8ight T
