Its ok for 1/10th, but thats it. It doesn't have enough power for a .21+. It also takes dual stick packs, so battery life is short, and you'll end up paying more for the two stick packs than you would for one 12V gel cel. This is my favorite bix for 1/8th buggies (it fit my CRT as well). http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCLD8&P=7
In the end with the battery it will cost you the same amount as the little ofna box, but its way better.

Brian I've been using the stainless looking one from Ofna that as the wheel trigger just in the rear and it will work real good for that Prospec. It's about $60 or so from amain and you can use stick or lipo and has a really nice handle on the end. The mugen box is a good box also.
Call me if you have any questions. Relax bud, you got time, it's snowing outside.

I don't really like starter boxes ( )...But in the end they are cheaper than replacing one way bearings. Just a few thoughts on the "boxes". If your 1/8 Buggy or Truggy fits on the Mugen box then this is what I would get, It's small, easy to carry and it's a Mugen so you know it's well made. My choice for "boxes" is the Ofna chrome top (part # 10250) It is heavy, it is big, It will start anything I own with no problem. I don't use the 12 volt battery, I use 2 4200 stick packs (The reason for this is they are easy to charge at the track and the 12 volt battery is not easy or quick to charge). I like the chrome top because I have a lot more options on the settings, so it's easy to put it on the box push down and it starts, without trying to get it lined up perfect...like I see so many guys trying to do with the smaller boxes.

I use the Associated starter box for my 1/8 scale vehicles. It works great and is easier to carry around as its not as wide. Mine didn't come with the mounting posts for up front so I just have to free eye it alittle better but other than that, never had an issue starting any engine. I power it with two GP3300 packs.
I was told however by a team driver that I was better off sticking with the stick packs than doing a smaller gel cel.
