P5X in a CRT Truggy
Has anyone used a P5X in a Jammin CRT? If so, how was the performance? Thanks.

I ran one all summer in mine w/ Jp-1 and it halled arse.Nothing but good to say about that motor. My buddy ran the same also in his CRT's with an Ofna 086 pipe and I think that pipe is a better choice :tire: :tire:

I have a Hotmod P5 in my crt and love it. I liked the JP-1 better than a jp-2 the only other pipe i would like to try is an o53 or maybe a JP-3. I felt the motor needed some help comming out of tight corners the jp-2 was just a tick softer, might be a good choice if your track is a little loose though...
I tried a 28 early last season but the milage was poor, guys running 21's could pit once in 15 where I had to pit twice. |
I am running a Jammin clutch silver shoes gold 1.1 spring and a 13 tooth bell as well. I tried a mugen clutch set up (flywheel, nut and shoes) but found it to be much less durable.

p5'S love o86 pipes just be prepared to fix it once in a while in a truggy they are pretty weak. P5 is an awsome truggy motor lots of powr from bottom to top.

Thanks guys, I have use P5's in my buggies, I just wasn't sure if it had enough yank to get that big vehicle out of the corners. It sounds like if I chose my pipe carefully I'll be okay. Thanks again.
